§3307.7.3 Viewing Panels

§3307.7.3 Viewing Panels is a series of 36 photos that maps the perimeter of the building site that runs from 14 Verona to about 19 Delevan in the neighborhood of Red Hook in Brooklyn.

By NYC law all building sites must have a viewing panel every 25 linear feet (7.6 m) - the panel has exact dimensions and overall specifications.

Because of these specifications, the 36 8.5 x 11" photos–– and with the American Spirit as notch sight, the series presents data as a multilayered affair where surveillance, texture and depth collide.
